Nars

Is Nars Hypoallergenic?

When something is hypoallergenic, it is very unlikely to cause a severe allergic reaction, even if the user has sensitive skin. Those who do have sensitive skin will often look for products that claim to be hypoallergenic, in order to avoid the redness and bumps that come along with using products that irritate the skin. But because this term is not well regulated, even in the makeup industry, it is difficult to know whether or not a product really is hypoallergenic, or whether the brand simply says that it is hypoallergenic. We’ve all probably experienced the fear of trying out a new product, unsure as to whether or not it will irritate the skin.

Nars is a mid-to-high end, popular cosmetics brand that can be found both online and in many beauty stores. So, is Nars hypoallergenic?

Nars is one of the most popular high-end brands on the market. They produce a wide variety of cosmetics, but because they do not market themselves as being a hypoallergenic or cruelty-free brand, many consumers do not know that they actually are both hypoallergenic and cruelty-free. This is a favorite of many makeup users, because it provides the coverage they need, without irritating their skin. Nars also produces a wide variety of lipsticks and eye products, two of the areas where people are the most likely to experience irritation if something is not hypoallergenic, making it easy for those with sensitive skin or allergies to find products that they can use.

While Nars does not market themselves as being hypoallergenic, almost all of their products are actually hypoallergenic. They are out of the price range of some cosmetic users, but those looking for very high quality products will like that they can buy a great foundation, eye shadow, lipstick, eyeliner, etc., without being concerned that it will ultimately irritate their skin.
