Hourglass is NOT cruelty free. It sells its products in China, therefore making it nit cruelty free. You statements are incorrect and misleading.

Hourglass is a cosmetics brand that is known for its commitment to animal welfare. It is generally recognized as a cruelty-free brand by organizations such as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and Leaping Bunny.

However, it is important to note that there are certain complexities regarding Hourglass’s cruelty-free status due to its decision to sell its products in mainland China. In order to comply with Chinese regulations, cosmetics sold in physical stores in China are required to undergo animal testing. This means that although Hourglass does not test its products on animals or use ingredients tested on animals in the manufacturing process, the brand has chosen to make its products available in the Chinese market and therefore is not completely cruelty-free according to some standards.
